About The Joy Bus
For homebound cancer patients, each day can be a struggle—facing treatment, side effects, and isolation. The Joy Bus delivers fresh, medically tailored meals with a friendly face, bringing nourishment, comfort, and connection.
Founded in 2011 by award-winning chef Jennifer Caraway and named in honor of her dear friend Joy, our mission is to ensure no one faces cancer alone. Volunteers—often cancer survivors themselves—deliver meals and companionship, making every visit a reminder that someone cares.
Your impact: Every ticket, donation, and auction bid at our gala directly supports this mission. Just $15 provides one patient with a medically tailored meal and a visit from a Joy Bus volunteer. Your support can extend beyond the night—whether through donations or volunteering, you help nourish bodies, lift spirits, and bring joy to those facing cancer every day.
